Dear EDI, I just wanted to say thanks for talking me into going paperless and purchasing my ScanFile document imaging system. As you know, I have been an Allstate agent for over 30 years and I have accumulated a lot of filing cabinets. The system has eliminated all of them! Our document imaging solution that EDI provided us is great!! We love it. It’s fast.. It’s easy to use and it takes a lot less space than those ugly brown file cabinets. In fact we replaced the file cabinets with a desk and added additional support staff to our office. Now, I can find any policy instantly, and I have a disaster proof copy of every sheet of paper scanned into the system. I have been using an Empire Document imaging solution for over 2 years now and it is great! John Pagan and my entire staff love it. It’s fast and easy to use plus we have been able to remove over 10 five-draw filing cabinets. I have also saved a lot of money by eliminating the storage of old dead files in a lock and leave storage unit. Since the system takes a lot less space we replaced them with a desk and added additional support staff to our office. Now, we can find any policy instantly, and I have a disaster proof copy of every sheet of paper scanned into the system. I love the fact that I can fax or e-mail directly out of the system with out needing to generate extra paper! The system makes great economic sense since office rents are too expensive to have filing cabinets taking up good usable support space.
